Eva studied culinary arts in Southern Italy and Tokyo, worked as a head chef in Portugal, and later returned to New York on scholarship to pursue a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Columbia University, where she took classes on nutritional science, mind–body health, and entrepreneurship. Alongside her studies, she worked as a food styling assistant for major editorial outlets including The New York Times Cooking, Bon Appétit, and Delish. Eva is also holistic nutritionist and Ayurvedic practitioner, and her graduate research exploring food, community, and mind–body health became the foundation for Moon in Spoon.
